Panelled parquet with dark inlay
A living room and hall of close to a hundred square metres. The client wanted the palace-parquet look, but a quiet version of it, hence oak panels outlined with dark inlay.

Oak staircase with turned balustrade
The commission covered the staircase to the first floor and the mezzanine balustrade, well over ten metres of handrail in all, including sections bent to a curve.

Herringbone oak floor
A house with a large bay window facing the garden. French herringbone laid at an angle to the axis of the room, then sanded and lacquered.

Staircase with a stainless steel balustrade
A contemporary interior, so instead of spindles a plain infill of stainless steel tubes. It does not block the view across the hall.

Arched church doors
The brick portal was already there and was not going to change. The doors had to fit the existing arch exactly, so we took the template from the opening itself.

Timber ceiling of the Divine Mercy church
The interior is covered by an open roof structure. The slope is closed underneath with pale tongue-and-groove boarding, and the truss beams were left on show.

Confessionals for the Divine Mercy church
Two confessionals of the same joinery, each fitted to the place where it stands. The priest's booth is enclosed and glazed, the kneeler open.

A full set of pews for the nave, with kneelers and book ledges, and a separate set of chairs with armrests for the sanctuary.
