A family workshop in Zamość

The Dudex joinery workshop has been working in and around Zamość since 1981, so 45 years now. Mieczysław Dudek founded it; today the second generation runs it.

We have made parquet, flooring and staircases from the start. Bespoke furniture, interior finishing and church furnishings came later.

We work for private clients, alongside interior architects and designers, and we take subcontract jobs. Sometimes the timber comes from the client, sometimes it is ours. We run our own drying kilns, so the moisture content is settled before the wood is worked.

What keeps us going is our reputation and the standard of the work. Clients come back years later with the next job.
