Entrance hall with an inlaid floor and a staircase with a steel balustrade

A steel balustrade is made by a metalworker, but the dimensions and the fixing points have to be settled together with the staircase. Otherwise the fitting ends with holes drilled into finished timber. Here the post spacing was known before the treads existed.

In the hall there is a floor with an inlay that marks out the area by the front door.

Gallery

  • The floor inlay marks out the area inside the door.

  • Lighting recessed into the stringer, at the client's request.
