Arched church doors
The brick portal was already there and was not going to change. The doors had to fit the existing arch exactly, so we took the template from the opening itself.

The arch of the portal is not quite symmetrical. Old masonry rarely is, so instead of forcing a regular shape we fitted the doors to what was there.
Oak leaves, frame-and-panel construction. We made the soffit at the same time.
